Yesterday was international women’s day, and nothing has made me feel more empowered and more feminine (on my feminine days) as Jester Lavorre. I was the most confident and at home as I have never felt in any cosplay before, and it reminds me of how I can love every side of myself in so many different ways. Laura Bailey’s characters always make me so happy because of not only how feminine and soft they can be, but also how strong, driven, silly, and loving they are. Women have fought tooth and nail for every right they have and the fight hasn’t ended yet. The power behind every woman to beat every odd against them is so incredible and makes every day an accomplishment towards the betterment of the world for women.
